POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for consulting with Hiring Managers and Senior Management to understand their current and future talent needs and effectively communicating and implementing recruiting strategies to build talent pipelines. Provides guidance to the Talent Acquisition Partner as needed.  Acts as the first point of contact on projects and cross-functional initiatives for Talent Acquisition.  In addition, this position will manage all aspects of the sourcing and recruitment process for a portfolio of open positions to exceed customer expectations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Team Leadership:

  • Provides guidance to team members on issues impacting the Talent Acquisition process and staff.

  • Coaches and mentors Talent Acquisition staff in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process and work-related issues and elevates when appropriate.

  • Collaborates with Management to achieve training, coaching and evaluation of performance for the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Assigns open requisitions/positions to team members based on workload and areas of focus to ensure effective workload balancing.

  • Produces monthly reports and metrics for the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Manages relationships with external vendors.

  • Assists in the design and maintenance of Talent Acquisition processes and procedures in order to develop and maintain consistency and ensure a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Leads special projects and represents the Talent Acquisition team on broader department initiatives as needed.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Development and execution of comprehensive sourcing and recruitment strategies for openings within our organization.

  • Development and implementation of selection strategies, programs and tools.

  • Influence, consult, collaborate and be a thought leader to Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Acquisition leaders and peers.

  • Development of strong rapport/working relationships with diverse audiences including but not limited to business management; professional organizations, academic administration; student organizations, vendors and community resources.

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with candidates and project a positive image of the company.

  • Expertly cold call, network, recruit and close candidates.

  • Consult and educate managers and selection teams on recruiting and selection-related topics and issues.

  • Provide a high level of customer service in consulting with and guiding hiring managers in comprehensive recruitment and staffing issues, policies, and processes.

  • Proactively source and identify candidates for pipeline and introduce to hiring managers.

  • Seek out and acquire expertise and “best practices” in recruiting and selection; serve as “practice leader” among peers to facilitate knowledge transfer.

  • Develop alternative recruiting strategies as needed.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ATS systems, preferably Taleo.

Ability to:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, marketing, communications or related field. Upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree.

  • Six years of experience sourcing and qualifying candidates, in Information Technology environment.

  • Experience participating in in-house HR or recruitment projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in internet research, resume mining and social media/networking utilization (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) to build a necessary, sustainable talent pipeline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

  • Experience managing projects is highly desired.

  • Exposure to or experience with broad scale process implementations is ideal.
