· Partner with business leaders to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics

· Lead, grow, and mentor a team of technical recruiters who own finding, assessing, and closing all levels of candidates

· Own, measure, and cascade recruiting reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence

· Drive continuous improvement on sourcing and closing strategies

· Run regular syncs to meet the recruiting team’s needs and to diagnose, unblock, and resolve issues

· Consult, mentor, and develop the business on how they can impact hiring goals

· Be an example for the entire team in everyday interactions (communication to partners, on time to meetings, etc)

· Ensure data integrity in our applicant, interviewing, and metrics systems


· Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree is required

· 5+ years of recruiting experience

· 2+ years management experience

· Experience building, coaching, and managing a team in a corporate environment

· Experience working with tools of the trade, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets


· History of delivering against ambitious hiring plans for a high tech organization

· Have knowledge of workforce analytics, metrics, and early adopter of technology

· Experience with managing recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Establishing and tracking metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers, interviewers, and referrers

· Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies

· Ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
