The Sourcer/Recruiter will be responsible for using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs, setting interviews, and posting new positions on various job boards.  This role will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager in finding new channels for recruitment, participating in career fairs, and recruiting candidates from an existing database in a very fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities Include

  • Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Post positions to job boards, including state run boards and industry specific boards
  • Interact with potential candidates on professional networks including LinkedIn, MedReps, Indeed, etc, and social media
  • Effectively mine existing internal databases to find passive candidates
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics for out of state candidates
  • Provide a strong candidate experience for all applicants
  • Meet and coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements and sourcing strategies including identifying companies, individuals and professional organizations to target for sourcing opportunities
  • Conduct initial phone screens with sourced candidates and offer input to the Talent Acquisition team or hiring manager on availability and career interests
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Request referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote CSI’s employer brand online and offline
  • Participate in process improvements and offer input on analytics
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and lead the way in industry best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of talent sourcing/recruiting experience
  • Hands on experience with sourcing and networking techniques such as recruiting on social platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter and crafting Boolean search strings
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to self-motivate, work with minimal direction, take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, OFCCP, etc.)
  • Experience in using HRIS and applicant tracking systems.  Jobvite preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills with special expertise with Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical device recruiting with an emphasis on recruiting Engineering, IT, Production, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research roles)
  • Experience working with and building sourcing strategies
  • Experience contacting high-potential prospects through targeted cold calling
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills to proactively network and build connections
  • Well organized, results oriented, detail oriented with the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Specifications/Other:

    • Ability to work in front of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
    • Physical Abilities: must be able to lift 20 lbs
