Do you like to connect with people and building relationships? Lurie, LLP is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will design and implement talent acquisition strategies and processes to identify and recruit top talent for the Firm. This role will be responsible for all recruiting practices as well as direct sourcing of candidates, conducting full life-cycle recruiting for open positions, and management of all candidates throughout the interview and selection process.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting process for all open positions within the Firm
  • Source and recruit active and passive candidates from a variety of media, job-boards, websites, networks, and professional associations
  • Design and implement strategies to identify, attract and hire highly-qualified employees, as well as build an on-going talent pipeline
  • Proactively research and investigate innovative sourcing strategies
  • Build relationships with hiring leaders in order to guiding hiring decisions
  • Create, post, and manage all job postings and recruiting advertisements
  • Screen, interview, and assess applicants for open positions
  • Manage LinkedIn presence, including career page and recruiter seat
  • Counsel hiring managers and interviewers on behavioral based interviewing
  • Campus recruiting, to include:
  • Scheduling and attending events on and off-campus
  • Maintaining relationships with campus career services offices
  • Coach and develop campus recruiting teams made up of current team members
  • Screen resumes and candidates
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews on-campus and in-office
  • Design and implement a campus pipeline including the summer externship program
  • Manage vendor relations with staffing agencies and search firms
  • Assist with the onboarding and integration of new employees
  • Partner with the marketing team to create and implement consistent messaging for promoting the Firm
  • Other HR projects as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • At least two years of recent and progressive experience in full life cycle recruiting with a successful track record of working with hiring managers to design and implement recruiting plans for current and future hiring needs

  • LinkedIn recruiter experience required

  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems

  • Experience building or participating in social media campaigns as a sourcing tool

  • Professional Services, specifically Public Accounting, recruiting experience is a plus!

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements, federal selection guidelines, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Ability to influence and build ongoing relationships across all levels within Firm and understand how it connects to their recruitment efforts

  • Creativity with an interest in developing and implementing process improvements

  • A high level of professionalism

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, handling multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Passionate and energized about people and recruitment

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
