Self Esteem Brands, LLC – the parent company of Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, LLC, and Basecamp Fitness is seeking an SEB Recruitment Manager to join its highly successful team. This position will be primarily responsible for the critical role of recruitment. Our organization is growing so fast that we need to create a position that focuses solely on the recruitment process. This person will be responsible for partnering with our hiring managers, in various parts of the business, and creating recruitment plans. These plans define the timing, sources and interview process for welcoming the best candidate onto our team. This person will have an expertise in the recruitment function and will bring best practices to our business. This position will also be the lead in our compensation and pay practices by using our salary bands, ranges and compensation philosophy to define starting salaries for our new hires. This position reports to the Director of HR.
Overall Position responsibilities:
Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position.
Acts as the resident expert on all things employee recruitment and teaches our team here how to best interview and screen candidates.
Defines the best marketing sources for our recruitment strategies.
Uses our SEB Compensation tools to advise managers on starting salaries.
Acts as a consultant to our corporate brand staff (Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City and Basecamp Fitness) and corporate team members to support their recruitment efforts.
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to corporate staff.
Supervises the participation in, conducts and/or purchases exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
Keeps apprised of federal, state and local laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, Human Resources, or related field.
7 plus years of experience in HR, Recruiting, and Compensation.
Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to compensation base and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
