The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the proactive sourcing of talent
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Research and develop new ways of using the Internet for recruitment
  • Maintain/update all external job boards
  • Prescreen and identify candidates on ATS
  • Blog on social media sites (Facebook/Linkedin/Twitter)
  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
  • Organize career fairs
  • Prescreen candidate for position eligibility
  • Provide back-up assistance to the recruiters as needed
  • May attend job fairs and conferences
  • Other Administrative and recordkeeping duties as assigned/required
  • Proactively create Sourcing Strategies in partnership with recruitment to achieve organizations short and long term hiring goals
  • Proactively interview/screen passive and active candidates and provide background summaries in accord with expectations
  • Build solid working relationships with Recruitment and Internal stake holders
  • Utilize your deep knowledge of online sourcing and networking to create new communities that identify and build talent pipelines
  • May build outside relationships with specialty organizations
  • Will attend job fairs and conferences
  • Use in-house databases and maintain data integrity of all information
  • Implements staffing Scorecard which provides the information (analytics) helpful to reviewing candidates and to determine the success of the implemented sourcing strategies
  • Proactively develops and implements short and long term sourcing strategies proactively with recruitment for the high priority positions within the organization
  • Proactively develops and implements workforce analytics in partnership with recruitment and HR operations
  • Leads demand planning efforts across multiple functions, develops and updates models, presents key findings, recommends forecasts changes, and secures approvals from appropriate functional owners
  • Proactively partners with colleges/universities to establish long term value added relationships which include attending college/job fairs, making presentations to students and faculty and coordinating internship/co-op programs

Education

  • BA/BS or Equivalent Experience

Qualification/Skills

Experience

  • 6+ years experience in recruitment screening, selection, and/or sourcing (search, agency, or corporate), data analysis, reporting and/or business intelligence
  • Health Care related experience preferred
  • Experience project managing mid sized projects
