Are you an energetic HR professional who loves challenges and is experienced in recruiting the best talent? Total Logistics Inc. is seeking a Corporate Recruiter at our Oakdale, MN headquarters. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Total Logistics Inc. is a premier Employee-Owned transportation and logistics company that is building our corporate staff to support an expanding portfolio of transportation services. This position will recruit for a multidisciplinary corporate support staff and source the best candidates for a variety of positions within our company. We’re looking for a highly motivated, energetic, friendly, and capable professional who will effectively promote the competitive advantages of joining our company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire)
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates for all positions throughout the headquarters
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
  • Develops advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with corporate staff to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, specific agreements, etc.)
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Assists with other HR Duties as needed; such as unemployment responses and other general duties

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 1 - 3 years of experience recruiting
  • Experience in recruiting activities including networking, sourcing, pre-qualifying, assessing, relationship management, negotiating and extending offers
  • The ability to independently work and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Highly motivated and focused to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent people, networking, and communication skills
  • Able to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (flexible hours)
  • Strong computer skills; Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office, Website navigation
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
