If you are an experienced Recruiting Specialist who enjoys identifying talent for both technical and non-technical positions, we would like to hear from you!

As a member of our HR team, you will have a front-row seat to all the action that goes on at TKDA by managing full life-cycle recruitment activities for architecture, engineering, and planning professionals. You will be responsible for preparing compelling job postings, creating search strategies, reviewing applicant resumes, sourcing passive candidates, conducting informational calls, recommending candidates for consideration, participating in interviews, and consulting with hiring managers in the final selection process to identify top candidates. You will also be responsible for enhancing our campus relations and recruitment program by evaluating target colleges and universities, attending career fair events, and establishing relations with professors, faculty, and career services staff.

In collaboration with leadership team members and senior HR representatives, you will assist with the continuous improvement, development, and implementation of recruiting strategies to support corporate growth initiatives and establish a pipeline of emerging through executive talent.

Required Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience for technical and nontechnical positions including: preparing compelling job postings, establishing search strategies, sourcing candidates, conducting informational calls and interviews, and providing feedback to identify and select top candidates. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to participate in team discussions, interact with employees at all levels within an organization, and engage in conversation with active and passive candidates. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to write professional and articulate letters and memos, email correspondences, reports, and presentations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and function independently. 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands, tasks, and responsibilities in a fast-past environment; aptitude to quickly assimilate new information and work efficiently under pressure. 
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications.

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting architecture and engineering professionals. 
  • Previous experience recruiting talent across multiple locations. 
  • Previous experience using ADP Workforce Now to manage requisition and applicant information. 
  • Previous experience implementing effective social media recruitment strategies.
  • Previous experience extending and negotiating offers.
