Talent Acquisition Specialist

Full Time Minnesota Recruiter Job

Responsible for sourcing and identifying talent for G&K’s Service organization.  This position will partner heavily with hiring managers throughout the organization to fill open positions and strategically plan for future openings. The service recruiter will also work on key initiatives to brand G&K Services with new sources of candidates including college recruiting, military focused recruiting, and social media campaigns among others.

Essential Job Functions:

• Working with hiring managers to understand job specifications to ensure qualified candidates are presented to the hiring manager (daily)

• Determining appropriate sourcing strategies to find a qualified and diverse applicant pool (daily)

• Proactively using web-based sourcing tools to find the best talent pool available (daily)

• Coordinating advertising/marketing efforts for open positions and special events to attract new and diverse applicant pools (daily)

• Maintaining candidate pipelines for service positions to ensure recruiting is proactive in their approach to staffing (daily)

• Screening and interviewing candidates to ensure proper fit (daily)

• Contributing to hiring decisions (daily)

• Negotiating and closing the candidates (daily)

• Special Projects as assigned (As needed)   

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work and educational experience

Work Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of multi-location/national recruiting, sourcing, professional search and/or research experience

• 1+ years using applicant tracking systems/databases, Taleo experience preferred

• Proven success at partnering with hiring managers to fill job openings in a timely manner

• Proven success at identifying new and creative sources of candidates

• Solid understanding of DOT laws and regulations

• Ability to travel 10% of the time

• Ability to effectively manage the entire recruitment process including sourcing for remote locations
