Description

This leadership role supports the development of key initiatives and drives for the success of the Talent Acquisition team.  The primary accountability is to ensure that the capability delivers the resources and support needed to grow the company through the hiring of top talent. This leader will be responsible for daily work direction for a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators. This role will have performance and development responsibilities including:  understanding and managing workload, service levels and metrics for each of the team members.  The leader will model the execution of the strategy, processes and tools.  Expectation is to collaborate across the HR capabilities and the generalist to ensure we are aligned as one HR.  This role is critical to lead, engage, inspire and motivate team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • 8+ years of proven Talent/Recruiting experience
  • Ability to resolve conflict within the team and cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and design of programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in interacting with senior leaders across the entire BBY organization
  • Experience facilitating, conducting meetings and training sessions; demonstrated ability at effective consensus building
