RECRUITER

This position is responsible for sourcing and building relationships with top talent, while building the TLG employment brand. Recruit, screen, interview, and hire regular employees, temporary employees, and independent contractors through proactive and cost effective methods that meet business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop relevant sourcing strategies in conjunction with agency leaders that includes short term and long term tactics
  • Use a variety of sourcing methodologies (both passive and direct) such as cold calling, social networking, data
    mining, job postings, employee referrals, user groups, associations, alumni, and competitive intelligence activities  
  • Make use of appropriate recruiting tools and technology such as social media, networking events, educational institutions, community resources, professional associations and external
    staffing agencies
  • Conduct screening interviews to evaluate candidates and ensure they are viable. Coordinate interviews, pre-employment
    checks, and job offers
  • Work with HR, hiring managers and PMO team members to clarify and prioritize staff needs and resolve issues and concerns with resource forecasts
  • Collaborate with HR to welcome and on-board new hires, which may include employment paperwork and/or helping schedule
    orientation activities
  • Communicate with all parties in the recruiting/staffing process including candidates (selected or not) HR, and hiring managers
  • Execute on the strategy for college relations and college recruiting. Promote the TLG employment brand by attending campus events, tracking and promoting candidates as appropriate
  • Utilize, update and maintain the applicant tracking system with resumes, notes, interview schedules and hiring data
  • Assist with tracking, measuring and managing sourcing channels used by the recruiting team and share relevant sourcing information

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment, preferably in the marketing services industry

• Solid experience developing and implementing sourcing/recruiting strategies using traditional and emerging methods/media; college recruiting experience is a plus

• Experience juggling multiple/competing priorities and successfully managing client expectations

• Familiar with recruiting best practices

• Outstanding relationship management skills

• Detail oriented, great organization and follow-up skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with autonomy and good judgment
