The Senior Recruiter will actively participate in the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and processes to identify and recruit top talent for the company. This role will be responsible for implementation of recruiting practices as well as conducting full life-cycle recruiting for open positions, and management of all candidates throughout the interview and selection process.


  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting process for functional groups
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, attract and hire highly-qualified employees, as well as build an on-going talent pipeline
  • Actively source and recruit candidates from a variety of media, job-boards, websites, networks, and professional associations
  • Proactively research and investigate innovative sourcing strategies
  • Create, post, and monitor all job postings and recruiting advertisements
  • Screen, interview, and assess applicants for open positions
  • Build relationships with hiring managers in order to influence hiring decisions
  • Maintain adherence to Surescripts policies and processes in relation to government guidelines around hiring practices; to include real-time maintenance of our applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to ensure data integrity
  • Counsel hiring managers and interviewers on behavioral based interviewing
  • Manage weekly headcount reports
  • Manage vendor relations with staffing agencies and search firms
  • Extend offers of employment



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of recent and progressive experience in full life cycle recruiting for a variety of discipline areas (i.e. IT, business, marketing, sales, account management), with a successful track record of working with hiring managers to design and implement recruiting plans for current and future hiring needs
  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements, OFCCP regulations, federal selection guidelines, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Strong working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of an applicant tracking system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Some travel is required


  • Experience building or participating in social media campaigns as a sourcing tool
  • Experience both as a corporate recruiter and an agency recruiter
  • Experience with iCIMS
