SUMMARY

Primary responsibilities for this position are to strategize and implement the tools and best practices to foster the successful execution of the Merrill recruitment process and candidate experience. This includes understanding Merrill Strategy, Values and Mission.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Partners with the HRBP and Service Line leaders and Managers to create and drive an effective, leveraged, (longer term Global) recruitment strategy supporting Merrill’s domestic AA program and Global HR Team strategy.

Partners with the HR Leadership to leverage and streamline opportunities contributing to the business results.

Provides specialist advice on recruitment and candidate attraction utilizing best practice methods and social media strategies.

Recommends best practice approach while staying current on trends in the market.

Works closely with Work Force Planning and Analytics on metrics associated with a successful recruitment practice.

Provides coaching and direction for various levels of leadership in areas regarding sourcing/recruitment/selection.

Manages a team of recruiters remotely and in location

Implements strategies for attraction of passive candidates utilizing social media and referral network

Located in St Paul, MN.

Ability to travel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related area or combination of experience and education.

5+ years of experience in a combination of the following: recruitment leadership or human resource management, preferably with a multi-national organization with a domestic AA requirement.

Experience driving a consolidated strategy utilizing current ATS and technologies

Strong customer relationship skills with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships with hiring managers and internal customers.

Prior experience leading a team of recruiters and leveraging sustainable, long term practices.

Experienced in executing and developing recruitment strategies a must.

Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Consistent judgment skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Strong time management skills.
