Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Recruiter to handle recruiting responsibilities for the Corporate Group Functions of the firm. This key role will be responsible for the day to day recruiting for Accounting & Finance, Real Estate, Procurement, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Legal, Publishing production and Manufacturing.

The Corporate Group Functions Senior Recruiter will attract and hire experienced professionals with a career that puts them in touch with the latest technology and the opportunity to build their professional skills and drive their career. You will be a part of a small, high-producing Corporate Recruitment Team leading talent acquisition of Shared Services professionals across the organization within the USA.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting for entry-level & Intern programs up to senior-level positions from receipt of approved requisition through offer, setting the recruitment strategy for end-to-end results. Major Responsibilities:

  • Conducts a consultative in-take session with the hiring manager to set expectations and the evaluation plan for the recruiting process, create targeted candidate profile, develop sourcing strategy and establish desired communication protocol with the hiring manager

  • Acts as a consulting partner to hiring manager throughout recruitment life cycle

  • Uses a variety of standard and specialized sourcing techniques to attract a pool of qualified candidates

  • Manage evaluation process incorporating behavioral interviews and validated assessment tools as needed to identify final candidate pool

  • Extends and negotiates the offer package

  • Works with Recruitment Coordinator to initiate on-boarding process and transition candidate to new employee

  • Enter all applicant flow and recruiting information in TALEO (Applicant Tracking System)

Qualifications

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years corporate recruiting or combined corporate & agency recruiting experience including at least two years recruiting for candidates for diversified corporate group functions positions within Finance, HR and Communications. Information Technology recruiting experience is a decisive asset

  • A track record managing a consultative recruiting process, a demonstrated ability to partner with hiring managers, provide recruiting expertise, determine best practice recruiting strategies and conduct a full life-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through candidate on-boarding

  • Familiarity with standard sourcing tools to search and identify prospective candidates

  • Experience with Taleo ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, general job boards, campus postings, etc., as well as creative sourcing strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines to meet business requirements in a cost effective manner

  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters internal recruiting systems is a decisive asset

  • Demonstrated behavioral interview assessment skills and  competency based interviewing techniques

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a customer centric approach is essential

  • Experience in successfully managing a high-volume requisition workload of up to 30 to 40+ open positions

  • Effective consulting skills in working with HR Business Partners in setting recruitment expectations, developing effective sourcing strategies, evaluating candidates and providing competitive market analysis

  • Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload

  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills

  • A result driven orientation and a comfort level in working in a high performance, metrics-driven recruiting environment

  • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
