Summary:

Develop and maintain SharePoint 2013 across agency groups: Capture requirements Site collections Work flows Master page and site page layouts Search settings Leverage Active Directory appropriately Develop knowledge and processes to effectively drive information with SharePoint Training

Drive customers requests to development of best practice solutions in appropriate technologies to meet our evolving needs: SharePoint and blended SharePoint solutions Web interface additions to existing web sites Web interfaces to SQL system of record SQL and database solutions Wiki development for unique solutions Open source and private CMS development for new solutions

Be a source of new ideas and effective solutions aligned to our goals.

Engage our internal customers to establish needs and bring forward unique solutions

Deliver effectively within an Agile (particularly SCRUM) process. Including: Prioritize and respond to tickets effectively

Assure understanding of client and customer end results needs. Assure this through: Shadowing customer work efforts On going engagement with customers and product owners Promoting possibilities that may not have considered for achieving requested results Consistent collaboration throughout the process of development to assure that all needs are being taken into consideration Keep commitments with quality deliveries and robust releases Provide proactive warnings when issues arise

Experience:

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT related field. Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to take an engineering approach to providing comprehensive, extensible, and robust solutions based on a solid understanding of core requirements, long term goals and organizational context.

Solid experience in SharePoint 2010 and 2013.

Managing site collections

Developing master page and site page layouts

Creating appropriate search settings

Creating workflows to meet organization needs

Effective at engaging non-technology savvy clients.

Experience at establishing their highest level needs and translating these needs into quality implementations providing the essential results

Excitement for the mission of serving those most in need and finding ways to use technology to help them more efficiently and effectively

Experience working in Agile methodologies particularly SCRUM in an IT development environment is a plus

Experience with other development tools is a significant benefit: Wikis, HTML 5, CMSs like WordPress, Open source tools, Python, Javascript.
