I will add to these as new questions arise (updated May 16th):
At MinneBar 9 a frequent question was:
“Are the jobs posted in the usual places really the only ones out there?”
My answer was:
No
There are a lot of reasons for this and we can talk about them another day.
I am hoping with my IT, Recruiter and HR network we can start spreading the word on those other jobs.
Will there be any “fake” jobs?
There shouldn’t be. If you come across one let me know and I can take care of it right away.
Besides posting jobs how can you be of help to an IT pro like me?

Anytime you want to talk about a job search, consulting gig, annual review, asking for a raise, how to build a network and most other career questions all you have to do is send me an email paul@mnheadhunter.com I may need a day or two to respond.

My MinneBar 9 (2014) career maintenance session is not yet posted so for now here is the 2013 version. Yes… the first question I was asked was, “Why do recruiters suck so bad?”
