Position Summary

Life Time Technology is looking for an extraordinary Associate Developer with hands-on experience developing on CRM systems and platforms. As an Associate Developer, you will be responsible for development within the CRM platforms, as well as meeting with Business Units and gathering and documenting requirements.

Examples of Work Performed

1. 10% of their week on management tasks, 20% on technical design and mentoring, 30% on meeting with Business Units, and 40% on writing code and configuring applications.
2. Write code for one or more programs or projects to ensuring adherence to technical excellence of our consumer-facing experiences
3. Remain current on technology trends applicable to Life Time Fitness’s business
4. Mentor other developers, participate in code reviews
5. Use appropriate technical design methods to explain your approach
6. Ensure technology, legal, security and process standards are followed across your assigned business segments
7. Understand and communicate technical and functional design requirements
8. Regularly meet with Business Owners and their delegates to provide updates and insight to project status
9. Design, code, and test technical solutions, including unit testing
10. Manage working sessions with Business Units, gathering requirements and doing some build and configurations in these sessions
11. Perform code reviews
    • Understand and help guide the evolution of the system’s architecture
12. Understand the necessity of, have experience with and aid in establishing and ensuring delivery to coding standards
13. Understand project expectations as communicated by the CRM Lead on the project
14. Estimate development effort to deliver
15. Recognize and effectively communicate risks to project timelines and quality
16. Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
17. Proactively work with CRM Lead, Interactive Business Analysts, Creative, User Experience and Quality Assurance Analyst to define project requirements

Minimum Qualifications

· Education:

Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Graduate degree preferred

· Experience:

1-3 years of experience in the software or website development industry

At least 2 years of experience with 25% or more of the following:

• Numerous programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, MSSQL, Apex, .NET, Fetch XML,etc)
• Enterprise level content management and/or collaboration tools (Adobe CQ, SharePoint, Jive)
• Rapid Application Development experience
• Browser performance testing, load testing
• Mobile development (Phone Gap, Titanium, mobile web and application development)
• Behavioral targeting or end-to-end marketing optimization (CRM type tools, A/B testing, etc)
• Hosting / Cloud / SaaS offerings
• Vendor management

4. Able to work with teams to balance solution vs. budget, schedule, and tools

5. Equally at home working with creative, business, and technical people

6. Appreciation of high quality visual design, marketing strategy, business strategy, and user experience disciplines

7. Cool under pressure, able to manage many details and priorities

8. Focus on broad technical expertise – including Web (Desktop and Mobile), Messaging (Email, SMS, Push), Native Apps (Mobile, Kiosks), Social (Tools, Apps, Integration), E-Commerce, and Online Video

9. Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, and ability to do so quickly, on the job
