We are looking for highly motivated engineering professionals who can connect the in-store experience to the digital environment by creating scalable and seamless multi-channel experiences without losing the brand we are known for. Individuals in this role will have opportunities to gain a large breadth of knowledge by working with experts in the eCommerce, multichannel retail, product management and software engineering fields.

- Keep abreast of technology trends and advances in mobile
- Research, evaluate and provide objective feedback on technologies
- Inform innovation design with relevant technology insights
- Develop fully functional prototypes to objectively test against hypotheses
- Be able to produce clear and concise technical deliverables for internal and external use
- Unit test code and create automated test scripts
- Work closely with other engineers and partners to ensure development meets business needs
- Follow industry standard agile software design methodology for development and technical documentation
- Research related products and make necessary software recommendations.
- Innovate constantly and maintain the technical edge
Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree in computer science or equivalent
-
4+ years of experience in software design & development
- 3+ years of experience developing apps for iOS and/or Android
- Experience with distributing mobile applications via enterprise channels and/or public app stores
- Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data using services (e.g., JSON, XML, REST APIs etc)
- Experience performance profiling and tuning consumer facing mobile applications
- Experience with cross platform development for iOS and/or Android applications
- Excellent hands on skills with iOS, Android, Objective-C, SDKs, NDKs and development tools such as Eclipse and emulators
- Heroic get-it-done self-starter attitude
- Good communicator and team player with strong organizational skills
- Proactively helps drive innovation within the company
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing highly interactive mobile apps with variety of media such as animation, green screen video etc., especially games
- Experience developing highly successful apps that enjoy wide scale distribution
- Experience building native apps and hybrid apps
- Skills and experience with Computer Vision, Unity, Augmented/Virtual reality, OpenGL
- Experience design/development/use of analytics and tracking solutions (e.g., Flurry, Google Analytics)
- Good understanding of timeline animation techniques and code animation techniques
- Experience developing interactive user interfaces utilizing HTML5, JavaScript & CSS
- Experience with agile methodology
