  • A few MN friends called me a whiner for talking about the weather in Kansas City last night. Now I see why. It's f'ing cold here.
  • Now looking up gas prices to maximize our purchasing power. Looks like Owatonna winds with upper $1.50's KC was $1.39. Most of Iowa $1.69
  • Between Mason City and the border. No, knowing we are "almost" to the border does not help.
  • My buddy keeps on showing where we are on his Blackberry and GPS. Is this the digital version of, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

  • Spent last 4 days isolated from the world (laptop & college football not included) allowed me to rest, think, clear my head. Very energized

  • The only good thing about the BCS for college football is the buzz it causes when it continues to fail. U of Texas got screwed.

  • A great walk. A very tame Doe hanging out on walking path between St. Anthony Main and Stone Arch Bridge. Not phased by people or dogs

  • 5 nights in a row in bed before Midnight. Likely has not happened since 11th grade. Thinking about reintroducing me to the doctor.

  • After a rough work week and not feeling well a huge dose of college football has me feeling much better.
  • College football has 3 teams in "trending topics". FSU, Texas, and Vandy. Happy to see some college football fans on Twitter
  • Gophers beat Indiana 16-7. 5-1, way to go defense. Let me say that again 5-1, way to go defense. My hope for 5-7 or 6-6 was conservative WOW
  • O.J. Simpson found guilty on all charges in his Las Vegas trial
