Sometimes the day does not allow a blog post let alone write about things on my mind or I hear about like economic, political, local news (sports too).
With Twitter, you at least get some of the flavor, a flash moment during the day, of what I am thinking about. You can follow during the day or see the digest below.

- Spent last 4 days isolated from the world (laptop & college football not included) allowed me to rest, think, clear my head. Very energized
- National Bureau of Economic Research: Recession started in December 2007. Had been 73-months of economic expansion. Previous was 120 months
- The only good thing about the BCS for college football is the buzz it causes when it continues to fail. U of Texas got screwed.
November 29, 2008
- Big XII has another phenomenal game with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Game on ABC. Bedlam indeed. 44-41 8:00 Q4
- Gopher fans: Oregon vs Oregon St on Versus. If Ducks beat the Beavers knocking them from BCS 2 from Big Ten likely. Gophers then to Phoenix
- Coleman/Franken recount: StarTribune has PDF's of some of ballots being contested http://cli.gs/2P5NLz I think 95% are easy to decide intent
- Unbelievable game between Kansas and Missouri. And hey, for anyone in Kansas City next weekend I will be there for Big XII Championship
- Next set of games: Florida/Florida State, Alabama/Auburn and right now best halftime show with Grambling and Southern bands. A good day.
- Rivalry games: Oldest Lafayette/Lehigh (144). Oldest D1A Minnesota/Wisconsin (118). Oldest trophy, Little Brown Jug Minnesota/Michigan.
- Enjoying Rivalry Weekend. Georgia vs Ga Tech, Virginia vs Va Tech, Clemson vs South Carolina. Expecting a sore thumb by end of day
- Time: The $100,000 Job Search: How the High-End Unemployed Cope

- LSU tries 63 yd FG into the win and misses badly, Arkansas wins. Nebraska kid sets Husker record by getting a 57 yd FG, up by 2. 1:43 to go
- Enjoying a day of blog writing and college football with Pitt vs West Virginia, Nebraska vs Colorado, LSU vs Arkansas. Last 2 in 4th Quarter
- MN Headhunter Volunteer Page: Director of Web Development needed at Ever After Gowns
- Wall Street: Dow Ind +100 for 5th day in a row of gains. First 5 day positive stretch since April. Some indexes have best % week since '74
- Watching "Rudy". Find myself relating to the story line quite a bit.

- Did not call VISI, got sidetracked. Now getting a mess of email, some out of order. Stuff happens. Still a big fan of them.
- Have not received an email since 10:20 AM. Thought it was because people took the day off. Spammers too. Not the case. Must call VISI

- Sending an email to 1,300 Recruiters on the eve of a long weekend. Getting a better than 15% "out of office" auto reply.
- Q3 GDP revised from -.3% to -.5% matching original estimates. 2001 Q3 was -1.4%
- Consumer Confidence Index unexpectedly increases to 44.9 in November up from 38.8 in October. Expectations were a drop to 37.9
- Federal Reserve: In a press conference going on right now Fed announces will buy up to $600 B in mortgage backed securities

- How do you go about picking one idea over another to work on? I have 3 in my head and all would be a lot of time and energy with big upside
- Wall Street: Housing sales down. House prices down. Citibank gets a bail out. DOW IND +200. I am sooo confused

- Wonderful time at the Goal Line Club tailgate. Met a few of the members on the Rivals.com site. The game itself, not so good. Floyd to Iowa
- 3 hours to Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Iowa Hawkeyes for Floyd of Rosedale a bronze pig yes I said pig and no lipstick either. Tailgate time
- Rivalry Saturday in college football. Looks like much of Iowa has come north to Mpls. I would too, what else to do in Iowa :)
- Waking up this morning wondering where to start. Spent much of the last week on the recruiter event. Lots to catch up on.
