Stellent Acquired By Oracle

Another Twin Cities tech company is acquired by one of the big boys. Last year Oracle acquired Retek and this time around it gets Stellent for $440 million.

The good news is that the local workers jobs seem safe for now. They are getting a very talented team and this certainly sets up Oracle to be a leader in content management software. I can imagine what the folks at Stellent are thinking knowing they have access to a massive R&D budget.
