We’re looking to add a Senior Analyst to our team! This is a full-time role located in Minneapolis. We’re excited to work with you, and the things you work on will impact hundreds of thousands of users all across the country.

Besides delivering insights via data, your job is to make an undeniably positive impact on our company, our culture, and, most importantly, our customers. Right now, we have an immediate need for a senior analyst with strengths in: user segmentation, cohort analysis, client-side analytics/user behavior analysis, attribution, and marketing & social media analysis. Bonus points if you have experience in a consumer social media business. Double bonus points if you’re skilled at a variety of board games (we have a weekly game day).

Though you may spend most of your time focused on the data in our business, you should also have a healthy and strong desire to understand qualitative research as well. First and foremost, we’re looking for someone who can synthesize data, research, and team insights to help us plan our product roadmap. “Test and learn” is our mantra, so experience with A/B testing and deriving statistical significance from well-designed experiments is highly desired.

We are not looking for someone who’s already an expert in everything they do. We’re looking for someone who brings great experience in some of the key focus areas and demonstrates the interest, drive, and desire to keep learning new things and new perspectives, and continually get better.

Working as an analyst at Kidizen is a unique opportunity. We have a small team, so you won’t be one of dozens. You’ll be one of a few, so your impact will be felt inside and outside the company. You’ll be working on a product that is used by hundreds of thousands of people at a company that is growing at supersonic speeds. You will help drive us in new directions. You’ll help us see things we haven’t seen before, consider things we’ve never considered before, and bring fresh perspective to our team. We think you’ll also have fun along the way.

A little about you...

You’re an experienced analyst.
Experience is not measured in the number of years you’ve been working but rather in the breadth, complexity and quality of your work. As an experienced analyst you can identify new opportunities based on data patterns and thoughtful insights, as well as identify where the product or marketing initiatives are failing. You ask a lot of questions, especially “why?”, no question is too basic. You form strategic theses, and test them with features and user data. You can demonstrate that your work has meaningfully impacted a product and business.

You care about the customer.
You are proud of your attention to detail and exceedingly aware of how your customer behaves. The customer is our data source, and you are continually trying to better understand her and what makes her tick.

You get things done.
Everyone says they’re a team player, but you’re a legit team player. “Not my job” is not in your vocabulary. You’re the one who steps up to the plate and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. You set your own goals and meet them.

You have excellent communication skills.
You understand that providing and receiving feedback is part of learning and helps everyone on our team grow. You’re not afraid to fail. You understand that being a great listener is critical to being a great communicator. You can synthesize feedback and turn your learnings into worthy solutions.
