Full Time Minnesota Tech Job

Dispatch

You’ll be one of the first members of the engineering team and will be influential in the technical direction of the platform as we grow. This is a high responsibility, high autonomy position and you’ll be deploying code to production within the first day or two. You’ll be encouraged to propose features and functionality as the platform continues to mature.

We believe that product development is more fun when deploying early and often, splitting up work into bite-sized chunks and getting feedback from real users as quickly as possible. We also believe that a single engineer should be empowered to develop a feature from start to finish, and that the technology stack should be simple enough to make that realistic.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and write well-structured, easily maintainable, and thoroughly tested code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency in the codebase, and to keep the team aligned
  • Deploy your projects to production frequently and monitor the results to ensure quality and positive outcome
  • Accept feedback from customers and adapt solutions with an eye for usability
  • Work with the rest of the product team to come up with ways to make the product better overall

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience building and supporting web applications in a full-stack capacity
  • Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or Javascript/React, and an interest in getting your hands dirty on both backend and frontend
  • Strong understanding of SQL
  • A desire to dig into new technologies and learn as you go
  • Bonus: React Native, iOS, Android, Google Maps APIs

Product Marketing Manager

Full Time Minnesota Product Job

phData

phData is looking for a high-potential Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team in a new role responsible for our most widely deployed products and services: Platform COE Managed Service, DataOps, and Big Data Consulting.

We believe that we are witnessing a new age of digitization and decision automation. To compete, even traditional companies must deliver data products. Examples include a medical device manufacturer building machine learning models to guide therapies or an industrial manufacturer automating supply chain planning. The clear implication of this change is that the data problems which used to apply only to Google and Facebook, now apply to a filter manufacturer, a medical device manufacturer, or a healthcare provider.

phData’s three products bridge the gap between disruptive data platforms and business goals, to drive value from data science, machine learning, interactive analytics, and real-time serving applications.

  1. phData’s pioneering Platform COE Managed Service enables customers to adopt and support Big Data and Cloud platforms. Powered by a suite a of differentiated tooling and IP, the Platform COE picks up where other leave off, providing “as-a-service” Big Data operations, monitoring, tuning, guidance, architecture, and strategy.
  2. For data and analytic teams putting cloud-native and big data workflows into production. DataOps helps companies author, deploy, and support your data pipelines faster, more reliability, with fewer errors.
  3. phData Big Data Consulting guides the world’s largest brands in Big Data strategy, architecture, and development.
