4 - Riverside, CA
5 - St Louis
6 - New York City
7 - New Orleans
8 - Chicago
9 - Birmingham, AL
10 - Miami - Ft Lauderdale
Minneapolis – St Paul ranks 48
They used these data points:
- Unemployment rate
- Rate of per capita income growth
- Families living below the federally designated poverty level
Deaths from circulatory-system diseases per 100,000 residents - Percentage of possible sunshine
- Ozone level
- Robberies
- Murders
- Average commuting time from home to workplace
- Mortgage affordability
