  • Olympics: Nothing against the athletes but 2 sports I can do without, synchronized diving and mixed doubles badminton
  • Olympics: I really need to rethink my thoughts on men's gymnastics. What the US dude just did on the high bar was awesome.
  • Olympics: not a big fan of men's gymnastics but what these dudes do on rings is sick.
  • Twins now Olympics: Twins beat Yankees 4-0 giving up just 4 hits. A beauty to watch. Now need to catch up on medals.
  • Digital River rang the opening bell at NASDAQ this morning celebrating 10 years. CEO Joel Ronning was interviewed on CNBC

August 10, 2008

  • winner of the video contest celebrating 10,000 members has been announced.
  • Olympics: Hey France, umm, you're not saying much? What's that? I can't hear you? Are you choking? Oh wait, you did choke. My bad.
  • Senator John McCain: Many rumors on him running for one term and having Democrats in the White House.
  • Olympics: Proof I am a sports junkie. Watched Argentina/Australia in soccer. Watched badminton and weightlifting. Water polo US VS China :)

  • Publicist: Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital
