I was trying to figure out which picture to use now that LinkedIn is allowing a photo. I have my MN Headhunter MySpace profile and MN Headhunter Facebook profile picture with Minnesota Golden Gopher football Head Coach Tim Brewster. Previous photos were with Goldy Gopher or a nice bass I caught.
And then I read these two articles, Smile, You're on LinkedIn and Picture this - LinkedIn adds profile photos and I learn that they are hoping for professional looking headshots. OK, I will play along. Here is my MN Headhunter LinkedIn profile with the headshot.
Not the biggest of picture space but a nice feature anyway.
Surely there will be lots of commentary like the last article from TechCrunch. Is LinkedIn falling behind the race with Facebook for fun features? Yeah maybe, you will see my Facebook profile has some personality to it. And I have not even come close to adding the many different third party pieces that are out there.
Definitely a step in the right direction.
