Other than the Gopher football team and Jim Durbin, Mike Sowada and VISI have been mentioned the most on this blog. And here we go again.
VISI announced last week the expansion of its data center in St. Paul, which includes 1,000 square feet of floor server space and 4,000 square feet of office space.
There is a good article in the St. Paul Pioneer Press this morning 'Minnesota-born' Visi.com focuses on client service. It talks about the offerings of VISI besides the Internet service including a new product, ViaWiki.
Mike has a great quote at the end of the article:
"We're Minnesota-born, Minnesota-bred, Minnesota-local and Minnesota-smart," he said. "And it is all about customer service at the end of the day."
This afternoon and evening VISI is having an open house which includes presentations by:
Lee Odden, President of TopRank Online Marketing, and writer of the Marketing Blog
Mark Kurtz, Vice President of MindTouch
Eng-Wee Yeo, Senior Security Consultant with Shavlik Technologies
Bill Kish, CEO and CTO of Coyote Point
The afternoon sessions are full. There are a few spots left for the evening sessions and the reception and tours are open to the public.
