Facebook Goes Corporate

I was waiting for this one. With the volunteer work at the University of Minnesota I am well aware the impact Facebook has on everyday student life.

I have been wondering, what would Facebook do with the students once they became alumni?

Here is the answer on the InsideFacebook blog. They are opening up to corporations too.

Further down the article is the mention about how LinkedIn has recently added the ability to search for classmates. This has already helped me to connect with two friends from the U of M days in the early 90’s.

Also mentioned in the article is if a person will want to mix their corporate life with their personal life. I see many recent alumni have kept up their Facebook profiles and my guess is that would want to keep their two lives separated.

My guess is that Facebook and LinkedIn will be able to share this space.
