You might be wondering how this all ties together but I promise it does.
Three months ago I posted about the Vonage service I picked up. As of today I have had no issues with it. I saw a posting on Recruiting.com a couple of weeks ago and was curious about some of the issues others have had.
Me? I am the poster child for Vonage. I did buy the wireless router, which was an expense I had not planned on but I have already saved in long distance charges the cost of the router.
Last night I went to the office to pick up the router because we had been forecasted 6-12 inches of snow. I had taken a nap in the evening so I finally went to bed about 3:45 am. At that point we had at most 1 inch and I was thinking the weather folk had it wrong again.
I slept in this morning. Woke up around 9 am, opened the shades and it was a winter wonderland. Our last couple of winters have been tame in terms of cold and snow so this was a bit of a shock.
Depending on where in Minneapolis and St. Paul you live there was between 6 and 14 niches of snow.
I was able to work today from home using the high-speed connection here. Everyone thought I was at work and the quality of service was as good here as it has been there. I have not had any issues with service as described in the Recruiting.com post. May it’s because I have a new router or have my settings different than they have.
Back to the snow, around here we have a tradition known as the boys state hockey tournament snowstorm. The tournament was this previous weekend so it came right on time.
By the way, congratulations to:
